"I visited a horse farm where they used the horses for therapy for teenage kids who needed a place to heal. I took several photos while I was there and put this painting together. What I didn’ know at the time of painting this was that the horse on the right was the mother of the other two horses. Out of all the horse photos I took that day, I just happened to put these three together. The mother was the first horse who started the use of horses therapy for wayward teens."
